In order to fix the data error (cyclic redundancy check), start with connecting the damaged storage drive again, using another USB port or USB cable. Reboot the computer, and perform a scan of the drive using Windows Error Checking tool or CHKDSK utility to find errors on the drive. It is recommended to save all necessary files from the storage device if it can still be used since CRC errors may be a symptom of possible drive failure in the near future.
